Justin Bergh is an established South African singer and songwriter best known for his work in the contemporary soft rock genre. Born in Cape Town, he came into the limelight in the early 2000s with a voice often compared to a blend of Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, and Axl Rose, a sound that has contributed to significant domestic success across multiple albums.
Bergh first gained attention with his 2000 debut album "Love The Sinner," which included the popular single “No Ordinary World,” featured on the soundtrack of the Big Brother reality series. His follow-up album, "Out of My Hands" (2003), earned a nomination at the South African Music Awards for Best Rock Album and produced several top-five hits, including the title track and “Here with You.”
His international work includes recording projects in the United States, Canada, and England with Grammy-nominated producers. His third album, "Inside Out" (2010), featured the single “Special,” adopted as a theme by Showtime Networks, while another track, “Miss America,” was written by Bryan Adams. Bergh has opened for Adams during his South African tour, performed the South African National Anthem before more than 80,000 fans at Twickenham Stadium in London, and was personally invited to perform for Princess Charlene of Monaco. Beyond his English repertoire, he also collaborates on songwriting projects within the Afrikaans music market.
